Water has gotten behind a few of our bathroom tiles, and any tiles I can remove have been taken off. See photo.

I found some mouldy plasterboard behind, so I've cut the mouldy section away and intend to replace with a small section of Abacus Elements board ahead of a proper bathroom refurb down the line where I will get rid of all of this rubbish plasterboard!

However there is a small cavity and then masonry behind and seemingly nothing to secure the Elements board to. Any advice on what I should use to fill this bit of cavity so I can install the Elements board? Some water-proof adhesive that is hard enough to hold the board and tile?

I have some of the blue stuff Roger Bisby showed in his SkillBuilder video to then seal around the new piece.
