Fitting bifold door (internal) without flooring.

We are fitting a internal vufold bifold door. We don't have the laminate floor in. But we want to try and fit it in without it.

The laminate floor is 8mm and underLay is 3mm. Is it just a case of me putting 11mm packer under frame? Or is there anything else I should consider.

How do you propose to hold the laminate down either side of the track afterwards?
