Hi all,
I am getting an electrician in to fit a fuse spur for an electric extractor hood (the integrated type with the fitted door to match cupboard doors).
He has said that he normally fits a fuse spur which feeds a normal plug socket behind the extractor. He said that the extractor then just fits with a 3 pin plug.
He also said that there is normally a space behind the extractor so the plug is not on display.
I have not yet got my extractor so can't find out how it is wired, or how much space is behind it for a plug.
Can anyone confirm the layout I need.
Thanks
Dan
