You can put a plug on it, but where are you going to plug it in?

Where will the flex run, given that there's a hob directly under the hood?

When you said "and all walls have been plastered" - has this just been done as part of a kitchen refurb?

Wherever you plug the hood in, how naff is it going to look having a flex trailing across the wall?

hi theres only 2 wires on flex so do you just wire it live, neutral the flex can be hidden behind a cupboard and just pop out a little at socket as socket near cupboard
