Hello all,
I've got a granite hearth, back panel and wooden surround, what's best to use to secure the back panel to the wooden surround - it is an electric fire that's going for show - not being used for heat - so unsure if that changes anything..and can i use a standard cement for the hearth to the floor to secure it..
Appreciate the help in advance.
Thanks.

I wasn’t around when it was actually done, but my marble surround was glued using something in a mastic gun to the brickwork. Presumably the granite supplier or a kitchen fitter would know the brand names?
pit might be worth running a shallow saw cut all over the sheet wood in all directions for a key?

Polymer grab like stixall.

Just behind around edges so you can cut to remove maybe

As simple as that good enough for me,
Will order some just now.
Appreciate that, thanks mate
