fitting new radiator

Hi all Fitting a new radiator to my extended kitchen pipes are in place and but can't trace them to find out flow and return to connect to main line whats the best way to identify . cheers

THe flow gets hot 1st, wont make much difference.

It shouldn't matter which is which.

Are you saying the pipe i connect to the thermostat valve can go to flow or return

It doesn't matter if the TRV is fitted on the flow or return, but some valves are fussy about flow direction. The water flow through them should follow the direction of the arrow on the valve body.

Bi-directional valves, identified by a double headed arrow, can be fitted either way round on either flow or return
