Anyway, we can't answer your question with the information provided. There are other factors such as volt drop, diversity, the way you intend to use the oven, etc etc to take into account. We'd also need to know the distance between the consumer unit where you want to take the supply from and the oven itself.
 
... and the conditions the cable will be run in - i.e clipped direct, inside conduit/trunking, through the loft covered in insulation etc.

Can't argue with that.

Any more than you can argue that this work is not notifiable, so, Paul, if you want it done legally you either need to get an electrician or notify the council in advance atc, which means you need to go off and learn about all the factors that affect cable choice so you can do the job properly.
