Hi, I'm fitting new scurtain arcitrive & plinth blocks. but unsure where to fit the blocks so the doors can open past 90 degrees.
I'd normally fit my arcitrive 6mm from the door casing, the arcitrive is 69mm wide and the plinth blocks are 80mm so it leaves around 5.5mm each side if i centre it.
But fitting the plinth blocks upto the door casing is going to stop me from opening the door past 90 degrees as it will catch. How do I get around this?
Do joiners set them back a bit & have a larger gap from the arcitrive to the casing, or do they use Parlament hinges?
Any suggestions?
