Hi,
Due to the gap between skirting board one one side of the room, I have fitted a 19mm Quadrant.
Now, I have begun to wonder if fitting carpet grippers next to the quadrant, I can still secure the carpet in that area.

I have not ordered the carpet as yet.

Should you feel I have done things wrongly, please offer any alternative advice.
Thank you.

Nightmare to tuck carpet between gripper and quadrant as there’s no edge to hold it securely.

Gap between skirting board and what ? Wall of floor?

Thank you.

Gap between skirting board and floor.

Crazydaze: In that case, I may need to fit a small strip of timber along that area, say about 20 x 20mm or 25 x 20mm.

Decent carpet on an underlay will probably tuck mostly under the underlay if you need it to the other side of the gripper if you trim it long, 20mm is high, but possible it will tuck under and touch the base of the skirting.
