I'm just about to fit a new shower bath. Our old bath leaked around where the tiles meet the bath and its become really damp under the bath now.
I'm fitting the bath later and want to be sure i get a good seal especially as its a shower bath. Should i simply seal the bath around the edge to the wall and when i tile silicone around again? Any other tips? Thanks

Hi there,

Make sure bath is securly fastened to the wall, I usually fit battens to wall to help take the weight.

Fill bath bath, the run sealant round, leave for 24hrs. Tile then reapeat again, fill bath, silicon, leave for 24 hrs.
