Hi, we are moving into a new home where the kitchen has an integrated two door fridge freezer cabinet. However we would like a tall fridge rather than fridge freezer so that would have one door rather than two.

Can we still install a tall fridge (sliding hinges) and just attached the two doors to it? Or do we have to buy a whole new cabinet?

You would need to ask the supplier if a suitable fixing kit is available for the model you decide to buy but I would think you might have difficulty finding a freestanding one that will fit into a cabinet so you will also need to check dimensions.

Cabinets are quite often 600mm external width and accept a 550mm wide appliance.

Freestanding appliances are usually 600mm wide.

You may find it difficult to buy new doors to match the rest of the kitchen
