Look carefully and they will probablly be numbered.

Hi thanks everyone I did the running back and forward routine and managed to sort it, I was surprised by the lack of numbering etc...I did peel back a good 8 to 10cm to try and find markings but nothing on the wires. I couldn't peel any more back as this would have shortened the cable too much. Thanks again.
So now what's left is proper continuity testing to measure actual impedances, EFLI, IR etc.
You've left enough to be able to gland it into the first socket or etcetera?
And what after that? How are you going to use the 5 cores? How are you going to get from where the armoured cable finishes on to other things?
