Hi All

Got a major leak on a 22-15-15 tee, solder joint failed. I have placed some Fernox LS-X and PTFE to hold the water, but still leaks under pressure. The joint is below floor level and will be difficult to drain.

I'm not confident to carry this repair out. Can someone give me an idea on cost to repair? There does not seem to be enough room for a compression fitting and a soldered joint looks difficult!

Thanks in advance

Pete

Thanks for the reply.

Drain point is above this point, on a radiator tail. Will draining all the water out the system be problematic?

Drain out what you can 1st then cut into the pipework. The rest will drain through the cut pipes. Throw a few towels down though!
