Fix Gate to Brick Wall

Neighbour and I have a brick wall in front of our gardens with an opening wide enough for a double gate. I have bought this from Wickes;

It comes with all the hinges and screws and I was planning to use brown plugs. Will this do the job?

Personally I tend to junk these 'all parts supplied' items and go for quality 8mm Fischer plugs and suitable screws (5mm x 50mm).
Its the drilled quality of the hole in the brick that determines the fix!
