Fixed boiler- could it have made my washing machine not work

Hi- Posted about this on the appliance thread so sorry if you have already read this.

Since the boiler was fixed a few weeks back, the washing machine has been making screeching noises when it fills up and drains- any other ideas as to the connection?

I can't take the racket much longer, I'm sure it's going to take off before much longer.
 
I agree with Oilman (but a bit more lovingly :wink: ) that you should have someone take a look at your washer.

Boiler would not affect the washer that i can see. :D
 
The boiler fix may have sent debris into the hot water system.

That debris may have got caught in the in-line filters (just inside the screw connectors) and is partially blocking the hot feed.

If so - clean them.

Sorry for posting this here, did not read the posts at the top carefully, just thought it may have something to do with the boiler...! :oops:
