We had two rooms reverted to solid wood recently, sanding the Victorian 6" boards back and varnishing them. Despite checking for damaged boards and replacing them, a couple only got noticed when we were walking on them.
We have one which is split but otherwise looks great, and another where the edge just seems to have got 'bashed' - all the wood is there but it's splintered.
Is there any type of product I can pour into the damaged areas and will bind it back together without needing me to remove and clamp the boards? Pulling them is likely to cause more damage and I assume wood glue won't work without compression?
