hi folks looking to render a house will be using stainless steel eml. Whats the best way to fix the eml to the wall. it says in the installation that the fixings need to be every 200 mm. if thats the case thats a lot of holes to drill

could i use something like a hilti or something if so do i need to use stainless fixing, if so do they make a stainless washered fixing that would be suitable

any advice welcomed

cheers

jon

You can use a hilti yes, i have used both, you just need to get the right hilti fixing....and make sure the neighbours know its you shooting a gun...or the old bill will be round....been there done that...lol

Search for hilti fixingns, i cant remeber the right name for them off the top of my head, someone will.

thanks for that. i had a thought i could use the standard stainless steel fixing and just put a SS washer on each may be cheaper than the proper fixings.

cheers jon

All you need really is it to have a wide head to grab the wire.
