Hi, new to the forum!
I've bough an old lump of reclaimed timber from a merchant which i've had blasted and cleaned. I'm going to use it as a mantle and want to fix it before i get the room replastered. I haven't a clue how to do this though?
Am thinking a rod fixing into wall and slide beam onto it but how do i do this or is there a better way?
I don't want any fixings to be visable.
