fixing insulation to rafter

What is the best way of fixing 50mm celotex to the under side of the rafter. I would like to use a large headed nail, but cannot see any in 70mm size.

Is it a case of screwing instead of nailing ?
 
70mm galv clouts?

Once temporarily secured with a few fixings it will then become trapped when you screw the plasterboard in place.
