Hi All

My garage (prefab) has been sitting for years without fixings into the floor.
I hate the way the walls move and rock especially when windy so I need to fix them down to the concrete slab.

The pre made holes are 10mm in dia and I have approx 60mm of prefeb before I get to the slab.

What fixings do you reccomend I use for this? I have 13 panels long so I'm going to fix every other one.

Thanks

Planemad.

Hi

They are to small in length I have 60 mm of panel before I get to the concrete below.

The panels rock in the wind and they move when you lean on them.
Its OK as its been up for 35 years but I would like to improve.

Thunderbolts as in the link. Up to 150x10mm.

Sorry posted the wrong link. Try this:

But as you can see there are plenty of variations on these fasteners, so you can take your pick!

Alternatively, you could mix some concrete and form a slight step on the inside and outside edge of the panels, say 3" high by 3" wide along the garage length and width. That will secure it when set. You could also put some concrete bolts in as well for additional stability.
