managed to drop a screwdriver out of the upstairs window and it's pierced a 3mm hole in the top layer of a polycarb panel on the conservatory roof (only the top layer, not the inside). I need to fix this as rain will leak in through the hole.

Any tips to fix the hole and stop rain coming in as i dont really want to replace the panel?

Suggestions:
- Clear, waterproof, external adhesive tape
- Clear silicone
- drill so it's properly round and fit a small grommet plug
- if hole is small enough you could try using a soldering iron and melting the surrounding plastic across the hole.

I suppose it depends on the finish you would be happy with.
