fixing window board to double glazing

hi

can i screw a window board into the lower part of the upvc window frame. it will be replaced in a couple of years and proper window boards fitted. It will not be a massive thing just aesthetically pleasing!!!!!

Gripfil it to the wall below.

Window boards are not screwed to frames - whether plastic or timber
