Hello

I live in a rented cottage dating back to the 18th century. Half of my kitchen worktops are old natural wood, the other half is a b & q wooden install.

We use the original side the most and over the last year we have had a few accidents. The side has some ring marks, some whiter areas from accidental contact with bleach, and some black water stains.

Any idea how I can fix this? Could I do this myself, or should I get an expert in?

This is my kitchen, if that helps: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-pr...C?prop=25246087&sale=30089633&country=england

The side with the range cooker is the original wood.
