Fixings for a safe?!

Hi,

I have a safe which I wish to fix to my floor and wall (its against the wall so can screw/bolt to both) but I'm not sure on the best way to fit it as its no longer got any fasteners with it as I lost these some time back when I moved and cant remember what they where like due to not seeing them out of the wall lol.

So basically what type of fixings would be best for this please? I need to know best fixings for both the wall and the floor (so two types of bolts would be needed I guess?).

I did find these Hexagon Bolts but wasnt sure if they would be right for the job?!

I'd use resin anchors with shear nuts into both the floor and wall (providing both are solid)

Thanks for the link Ronny but I will need some bolts too for those wont I?

Also the fixings are inside the safe and in a solid wall and flooring so I dont think I need fixings that are tamperproof as they will not be accessable from out side the safe.

Do you think the bolts I listed would be secure enough to hold my safe down? or should I use a differnet type of nut and bult?

I would like it so I can take the safe up if needed (if I move for example) but without causing any damage other then a couple of bolt holes

Aha, makes much more sense to have the fixings inside the safe

I'd still use resin fixings...they'll provide much better resistance against tensile forces.

Rawlplug do the resin and get some M12 threaded bar. Cut bar to length and make sure you put nuts on first, or you'll struggle to get them on!

Drill 14mm dia holes 100mm deep (or as deep as possible if less than 100mm) squit in some resin, hammer in the bar and wait for it to set before tightening.

Sets in no time but give it an hour to ensure fully set.

No sorry not going away until xmas and by that time the safe will be secure so you dont need my address lol
