Hi I am going to fit a 2.4 metre mopstick stair rail with metal brackets to a solid outside wall inside the house I would like to use Fischer duo power plugs would 8 x 40 with 50mm screws be ok or should I use 10 x 50 with 60mm screws any advice welcome as i want to do it properly

Thanks

If it is just 2 holes per bracket then probably the bigger the better if you can get them through the holes. If it is 3 holes per bracket then the smaller ones should suffice as long as they go into brick and not mortar

8mm is more than enough.
Had mine in place for 20 odd years and the kids still swing on it without failing.
Make sure the hole is vacuumed properly before inserting the plug and it will never move.
