i have an old rad valve which needs tightening as its leaking.
it has a cap which comes off and a screw underneath.
this screw has worn out and thus will not turn, how can i get it off?
drill?

You can get left-handed drills which will often wind an old screw out and are less likely to snap off than screw extractors (assuming you have a small reversable drill).

I saw a JML version in the cheapo stores like Dyas, Wilkinson, Woolworths.

cheers for replies, I don't think the drill will work to unscrew it as there is nothing for the teeth to grip.
