Hi, Is there a way for the return wall fascia boards to run level at the top and hide the fall/pitch of roof on flat roof extension?

It’s a warm roof, finished in GRP and I have soffits extending on 3 sides with furrings giving a fall to the front in to a box gutter.

I’ve seen a few different comments that someone said to leave it level with a check kerb but with a fall of around 80mm I can’t see how that would be possible.

I thought that making a little 4x2 timber upstand all the way round level on the joists would be best. Is there a minimum height above roof at the highest point you’d go. I know the parapet would usually go 150mm but the height of the fascia would look silly. I thought 50mm but the detailing around grp trims and a small upstand might be a problem.

I came across a manual that said to reverse a furring and fix on top of osb, thus leaving it level. But unsure what trim would be best to weatherproof the 80mm drop behind.

Do most people just cut the top of fascia on the angle? Or it seems when they don’t have a soffit the fascia is fitted flush to osb the same height all round but on an angle?

Thanks for any help!

If ever a post needed a piccie, yours does. (y)

With our flatties, the fascia is fitted then the flat roof material flashings are lapped over onto the the fascias and/or are concealed with trims.
