Flat Roof Extractor Fan

We have a flat roofed bathroom and a tiled dormer to the rear the only wall space without having to cut the tilework is by the loo and only 2ft off the floor. Do building regs suggest that the fan should be a minimum off the floor or is it ok.

If it is that close to the loo, It will remove loads of steam, the morning after a curry

Why not stick it in the ceiling and go through the roof with the pipe? I did that in my bathroom (also a flat roof extension). Worked a treat!

You'll have to stay off the curries though...
