Hi guys,
Amate of mine has damp on a wall in his house. On closer inspection, I found the felt on his flat roof has been damaged. Not sure how to explain this but he has 'hips' on 2 sides of his extension which stop rainfal just flowing off the sides of his roof, they also direct the rainfall to the gutter on the end of the roof!! I guess u know what I mean
Any, as the felt rolls over these 'hips' the is obviously nothing under part of the felt and it looks like the window cleaner has stepped on the weakest Part and put 2 footprint size holes, side by side.
Can I clean the area up around the holes and add a patch of felt using a blow lamp? Is there a particulsr type of felt that should be used? I guess shed felt isn't enough. Anything else I need to do? Any advice appreciated
