Hi
My flat roof (14 years old) joins to my chimney breast as per the photos attached.
A slight (half a centimetre) gap has appeared between the end of the felt and the chimney breast.
If I press the upright part of the felt it feels securely bonded right up to a few cm below the gap.
As you can see I've drowned the gap in liquid rubber paint.
Just wondering though if this is a serious sign of roof failure, and what the smartest remedy might be?
Any and all advice much appreciated!
Cheers
