FLEXCON 12 LTR EXPANSION VESSEL is this suitable for hot water tank?
I need a new expansion vessel as my one has bust can this one be used for a hot water tank?

What colour - if red, no. Anyone working on unvented hot water systems has to be registered to do so. There are a few things which must be got right!
 
What is the coluor code? Is it pressure or volume related?
 
Red is unlined mild steel and can corrode, white is lined and corrosion resistant. But as ChrisR says DON'T TOUCH IT. If anything goes wrong this thing will take your house down, and you will have no insurance cover.
