I have recently used a Flexcon 2 connector to take the waste from my Bath tub.The reason i used it was because the waste from the lavatory was between the main waste pipe and the Bathtub and the pressure of the pipe had caused the lavatory waste pipe to crack.

My question basically is is there any cons to using a flexcon in comparison to a normal grey pipe?

Yes:

1. A flexible pipe has a shorter lifespan that a rigid one.
2. Stuff gets trapped in the corrugations.
3. If you don't properly support it will sag and block up.
