flexible gas joints

im not doing anything, just curious.

how would you take a supply from an existing tapping where the building flexes by, say, half an inch?
can you use an annoconda like at a meter, or one of the EPDM bellows? Do regs allow this, or does it all have to be rigid pipe?

Regs would partly depend on what the building is and what it is used for, but there are solutions available to account for movement in buildings
