Hi all. I'm after a bit of advice please. After 15 years, our flexi hose on the bathroom hot tap gave up. A bit of water through the kitchen ceiling etc was the only damage caused. Now, to replace the hose, I have had to remove the sink basin & pedestal to expose the other end of the hoses. A few floor tiles have gone in the bin to allow me to do this.
Now my question is... Is 15 years about the life span of these things or could something else be an issue. Is there a better option to use than a flexi hose? and should I just buy a new pair and replace them both (hot n cold). Then I can let the floor dry out before replacing the floor tiles.
Thanks for any advice... Adam
