Flexible power in solid wall

Hi

About to mount a tv and soundbar to my block wall. Electrician has mounted a double socket high for the tv and soundbar and channeled down to another socket lower down for a decorative fire. (See image)

The soundbar i want 4 inches below the tv bottom and run the Power cord and hdmi lead to the tv, but i want to hide the cable in the wall. This only needs to be distance from soundbar to rear of tv so about 6 inches

Thoughts are
1 Run cables in existing channel and plaster
2 chop out new channel parallel and run them through that with galvanised channel and plaster.

Im nervous if running any flexible power canle in the wall.
Any thoughts / help appreciated

If you plaster the power and HDMI cales into the wall you will be making things diffult for yourself if ever you need to remove the TV or soundbar from the wall or replace either with a different type as you wont be able to move the plastered in cables. Not sure you would gain much in the way of improving the look of it for just 6 inch of cables.

Fit a conduit behind the plaster with an opening at each end that allows for easy cable replacement.
