I am due to lay a tiled floor in an extension and was considering undertile heating, but having problems figuring out the cost/how much I will need. The room size is 4m x 3.5m = 14square meters. But getting confused with heating mat coverage

For floor areas measuring 3.2 - 4.0m2

does that mean it will cover a room, say 4m x 4m or simply 4m (i.e. 2m x 2m).

Stupid from Margate.

Go to a tile shop and ask about underfloor heating, they have a booklet that tells you which pack you will need they should also be able to advise, also dont put the heating under areas where furniture will be only areas of foot traffic.
You can install it yourself but get a part p tester to check it,its worth the extra cost.
You will also need to use flexible adhesive and a flexi grout.
