Hi there

I'm in the process of replacing damaged floorboards in a first floor room, the old boards were partly nailed down and partly screwed, as i replace with new boards should i use nails, floor brads or screws? - i have no plans to lift them up - unless of course something goes wrong with pipes/wiring? any help appreciated as i'm going to finish the job tonight!!!

cheers

Steve

Unless you like squeeking floorboards, use screws. If you pre-drill the holes in the floorboards it'll help prevent them splitting.
