Floor levelling

Hi,

Having knocked through two rooms my floor are not level - out by approx. 5mm. I want to lay new wood flooring so need to have floor levelled. I reckon 5mm x 27 sqm.
What is a fair price for laying latex as I have been quoted £1200 plus VAT - what seems to be excessive?

Damned excessive. About £250 for the materials, and 1 day for 2 men.

Seams alot I'd say.
At 5mm I'd be about 12 units screed with labour £500
