This is for 34m2 area, two large rectangles joined together.

The quote I have is in two parts, firstly to level the area, with latex...

Latex floor
Primer - £27
Latex - £168
Labour - £210

The second part is to lay the solid wood...

Wood - £1700
Adhesive £250
Labour - £700

plus all thresholds etc.

1 more question, if I get them to level/latex the floor could i then lay engineered floating rather than have them glus solid down. Would i still need underlay?
Trying to save a few quid.

Thanks

How long is a piece of string? Always difficult to give opinion on such limited information, but all in all the prices seem reasonable.

What do you mean: do I still need an underlayment?
