floor panels for UFH

Anyone know if the panels provided by UFH companies (basically to lay the pipe in) are worthwhile.

I appreciate their advantages i.e. spacing, speed etc

I'll be laying onto Celotex and securing with clips but the panels add £500 to the cost so do I really need them?

Well got plenty of that! but aside from speed and accurate spacing are they worth it?

Not really - if you've got the time to faff around and don't mind being a bit inaccurate then don't bother with them. You'll need a staple gun though or you'll be there pressing staples in by hand for months.
