I have a loft ladder that sits on a new piece of 3/4" play which is about 3 fooot x 4 foot. When it was lifted up the other day there was a white powdery look and a bit of blackness, this was were it touches the fibrerglass insulation between the joists. The ply has been down about 12 months. Anyone know what the cause of this is.
