Hi I had a vinyl tiled floor put down which left a gap around the wc pot, because the pot was loosened to get the underneath but when it was put back by me , I found they hadnt done it as asked, ie they had cut round the base not under the pot as asked . so now I have put the pot back against the wall, because the plumber wouldnt come back and do it, I have been left with a deep gap (the depth of 2 layers, one of wooden flooring and one of tiles on top. i've tried filling the gap with grout and then finishing of with silicone filler , but its too wide and deep. also tried a wide bathroom sealant strip with a crease in it, which would have worked but a long lenth is needed to go round the front of the base and that length dosent like going round such a steep outside curve. It wont stick to both surfaces for long. I need something else, white, wide, thick, looks good that sticks but will allow a curve!
