I am about to lay ceramic floor tiles on my newly screeded floor of my new conservatory, do i have to seal the concrete with anything or can i just go straight on with the tile adhesive. Also my wife has picked 450mm square tiles boy they are big any special tips on laying these big ones. What size notched trowel do you people use 6mm or 8mm or even bigger any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers

Leave the screed for several weeks so it is fully dry before tiling.

I would use a thickbed trowel, the one with the semicircular notches and a powdered adhesive, suitable for large format tiles. BAL Motobond is what I use most.

No need to seal the screed, just make sure you clean off any dust.
