Floor varnish on doors?

Hi,

Is there any reason why I shouldn't use Ronseal floor varnish on doors? Just that I'm unable to find coloured "non-floor" varnish in tins bigger than 1 litre, which is cost-prohibitive when I've got 9 doors to do!

AFAIK floor varnish can be harder too, so stands knocks better.

Only problem is stopping people walking on the doors :D
