Hi, i'm about to lay some laminate flooring and its out of the Balterio or Quick Step....

Which one of the above two would you choose and why?

I've seen a video on You Tube whereby the panels for their product (can't remember which it was) clicked in on the long edges and the short edges???

Can either of the above two be fitted in this way?

Quickstep can be clicked in or tapped together (lengths and short headers). Balterio you have to click the headers then tilt the row up to slide the length into place. The Balterio you have to shave the click section off the groove and glue the last row in if its going under a door frame (previously undercut before starting).
From a DIY point of view, go with the quickstep.

Hi mate thanks for your reply, which would you say is the better quality?

The Quick Step is more expensive isn't it?

Also, i don't know if you are a tradesman, but i've seen a demo on the Quick Step website which shows a panel in the middle of the room being replaced using once of their own specific tools, this is done without damaging or taking up any of the other panels, do you really think this is possible? I'm a little reluctant to believe that personally....
