Flooring flawed?

Any reason not to do it this way? Have damp course strip under and in to of block, with 20mm board on to. Level. Will have 60x240 boards on top. If prefer not to use bricks and mix mortar if i don't need to.

I put my blocks flat when repairing a suspended floor, as I figured your way might unbalance the block.

It's all pretty solid, the only flaw is that the joists will need to be fixed with plugs as the 20mm board too shallow for a screw. But, both were spares laying about in the garden/shed so didn't cost anything.

Also, this is an additional bit, just for a little more support as I also did this, using some radiator brackets to hold it together!:

Joists arrived today, so I will soon find out if it is solid ... fingers crossed.
