Have a new small utility room (6ft x 6ft) recently finished and now need to decorate this. For the flooring I would guess tile or a vinyl style floor would be best for a "wash room" but we do have some Karndean engineered oak-style flooring left from dining room which I could buy another pack and fit.

What would peoples opinions be on best flooring for this room please

Thanks

Personally, I would suggest a tile floor as opposed to wood in this situation. I presume you are going to have at the very least a washing machine in there.
At some point you are bound to have a leak, or leave some wet clothes on the floor, or spill washing powder which will go into the joints etc etc.

Wood is fantastic, but it will swell when it gets wet.
