What a wonderful invention floors are. Aside from their obvious structural benefits they provide generous storage space for all manner of discarded items. They are also useful to stand items of furniture on.
 
nowhere near as useful as corners..... after all, you wouldn't know where your floor finished and your wall started without them, let alone where your wall ended... :shock:
 
I've actually turned the kid's bedrooms into nonagons to give them more corners to throw stuff into.
 
imagine if we didn't have gravity, there would be 5 other facets onto which our children could discard unwanted items.
