Flouresent disposal

Replaced 5 five footers today in the workshop and have a mind to smash them in a bag and tip them in the bin.
Sound OK?

Need to be dispose dof properly as they contain mercurcy vapour. Take them to any Electrical wholesalers or the local recyling centre who will have collection bins.

Will CEF take them?

They are obliged to.

CEF and senates etc have large metal bins for them outside their branches.

(They add on a disposal charge on every tube you purchase)
