Having given up on previous problems with an old Heatline combi, I'm about to purchase a Sabre (Vokera) combi for 350 quid.

The vertical flue (100mm) on the existing boiler looks like new, and has all the roof fittings etc, so before I get someone to fit the new boiler, my question is can the old flue be used? or at least the short section that goes through the roof which is stepped up to 120mm?

Thanks

as redman says
the answer is no the boiler and flue are specific per manufacturer and to fit another manufacturers product would be an infringement of the regs.

the only exception to this is same parent company appliances like Glowworm and vaillant where parts are the same for both boiler makes.
